Programs.

Club programs are designed to help young people gain self-confidence, increase knowledge, develop mentally and physically, and gain perspective on their future opportunities. This is all done in a fun environment under the supervision of trained, professional staff!

  • Engages Club members 6-18 yrs in high-quality organized flag football, basketball, and soccer programs.

  • Ensures youth at risk of dropping out receive consistent support from caring and trusted adults; whom develop the academic, emotional and social skills necessary to achieve academic success.cription

  • Helps young people explore a variety of careers, make sound-decisions, and prepares them for the working world.

  • Pathway, a key component of Boys & Girls Clubs’ Education & STEM programming, invites youth and teens on a journey from their first encounter with code to creative computing.

  • A college readiness program, provides a range of services to guide Club members as they work toward high school graduation and prepare for post-secondary education and career success.

  • Is a hands-on, activity-based STEM curriculum which connects youth to science themes they encounter regularly.

  • Provides our club members with opportunities that expose them to a variety of environments and activities outside of their own neighborhoods.

  • Emphasizes good nutrition, regular physical activity and improved overall well-being.

  • Provide leadership development opportunities for young people ages 14 to 18. Youth participate in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation and community service.

  • Initiative aims to engage 1 million Boys & Girls Club youth in service projects each year, with each donating at least one hour of service.

  • Is a free national program educates teens on safe driving techniques based in part on the training UPS uses for its own drivers, who are among the safe drivers worldwide.

  • Is a comprehensive health and wellness program. It strives to improve the overall health of Club members ages 6-18 by increasing daily physical activity, teaching them about good nutrition and helping them develop healthy relationships.

  • Promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members ages 13 to 18. Participants learn how to manage a checking account, create a budget, save and invest, start small businesses and pay for college.

  • Allows adolescent Club members, and all teens, access to valuable content derived from existing BGCA life-skills programs.

  • Members learn and apply foundational technology, digital safety, and information literacy skills they need to succeed in school and more advanced Club programming.

  • Is a year-round program encourages artistic expression among Club members ages 6 to 18 through drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media and sculpture displayed at local and regional exhibits.

  • Provides members with the opportunity to participate in healthy physical fitness competitions designed to encourage a general state of health and well-being and develop the ability to perform various aspects of sports and recreation.

  • Teaches responsibility to boys ages 11 to 14 with sessions that focus on a specific aspect of character and manhood through highly interactive activities.

  • Allows youth to increase their overall fitness while learning the fundamental skills of baseball and softball through fun and enriching activities.

  • Engages members and parents in activities designed to promote diversity and combat prejudice, bigotry, and discrimination.

  • Provides Club professionals with the strategies, activities, resources and information to create an engaging homework help and tutoring program that encourages Club members of every age to become self-directed learners.

  • Reinforces the academic enrichment and school engagement of young people during the time they spend at the Club.

  • (Flag Football, Jr. NBA, Jr. WNBA, RBI, Jr. RBI, Volleyball, and Indoor Soccer) empowers our youth to make healthy choices through extracurricular physical activity.

  • Provides health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement for girls ages 8 to 17.

  • Is a prevention and education program addressing problems such as emotional wellness, drug and alcohol use, and premature sexual activity.

  • Is comprised of one-week modules with fun, themed activities for elementary school, middle school and high school students that are aligned with common core anchor standards. In addition, Summer Brain Gain: Read!, a literacy program, complements the larger Summer Brain Gain curriculum.

  • Is an exciting way for youth to experience a variety of educational and fun activities during one of the most memorable times in their lives.

  • Are chartered, small-group leadership and service clubs for boys and girls ages 11 to 13. A Torch Club is a powerful vehicle that helps Club staff meet the special character development needs of younger adolescents at a critical stage in their life.
